South Dade One Voice Youth Coalition (SDOVYC) is a youth organization dedicated to educating our peers and their families about substance use. This is done through advocating, assessing community needs and working within our community to provide resources and knowledge that will help families understand more about underage substance use and other critical areas that surround our community.

What Does It Mean to Be a Member of SDOVYC ?
The mission of South Dade One Voice Youth Coalition (SDOVYC) is to improve and empower the lives of the youth in south Miami-Dade County. Through prevention and empowerment efforts, we imagine a future where all our youth and adults are free from substance use/abuse.
Being a member of SDOVYC allows the opportunity to connect with others in the community who share a similar passion of improving the community that they live in. SDOVYC encourages youth to come together to discuss trends in their community, determine ways to better educate the community and share their message through various outlets such as: social media campaigns, advocacy and community events.
Youth will also have the opportunity to receive community service hours, attend professional development workshops and participate in team building activities in order to promote our motto of “Live Life Substance Free.”
